Before deleting browser data, open Ruffle’s Save Manager and use its backup capability. Keep the backup outside the browser data you intend to delete.

To restore previously backed-up progress, open Save Manager again and use its restore capability.

Review Chrome’s deletion categories

Chrome treats Cookies and other site data separately from Cached images and files. Chrome states that deleting site data removes HTML5 storage types including Web Storage and Indexed Database data. Deleting cached images and files removes text and images that Chrome retained from visited pages.

Review the selected data types before clicking Delete data. Creating a Ruffle backup first is a sensible precaution when Cookies and other site data is selected.
